I began my healthcare career as a clinical nurse in Pittsburgh, PA. I have been blessed to hold positions as the Director of Nursing for Catholic Charities (Villa DeMarillac), Pittsburgh, PA., Director of Nursing, Howard University Hospital (Neurology), and Program Coordinator at the World Health Organization. As a graduate of Johns Hopkins University, I hold a Doctorate Degree in Epidemiology, a Master’s in Public Health, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. I have worked in the healthcare industry for over 20 years in various positions that include Clinical, Administrative, Subject Matter Expert (SME), and Health Information Technology. Currently, My achievements include certifications as a Certified Medical Office Manager, Certified Managed Care Manager, Certified CMS Medicare EHR trainer, and AIHMA EHR Implementation Specialist. I bring to the table over 15 years of billing and coding experience that includes certifications in CPC, CPC-I, and COC/CPC-H, with my most recent certification as an ICD-10 AAPC Train the Trainer Specialist. Over the past eight years, I have taught in several business schools and colleges/Universities in Washington DC, holding positions as the Curriculum Writer, Staff Coordinator, and Assistant. Program Manager as well as Keynote Speaker for CMS on EHR Implementation. With a lot of hard work and expertise in all areas of Healthcare Education and Reimbursement/Practice Management, I am proud to say that I have established myself as a well-respected leader in the medical education community.

Sean brings over five years of management, medical billing, and coding experience to CMBS and our clients. He handles the day-to-day operations and the onboarding of new clients. He assists in managing a combination of 25 employees and contractors.
